Proof That Obama Has Attempted A Coup (Power Grab / Take-Over Of The Nation) Via The Courts?

This week Senator Ted Cruz released a report citing six cases that went to the Supreme Court that are examples of an unprecedented unconstitutional power grab by the Obama administration.

Cruz released an "Inaugural Report on Obama Administration’s Unprecedented Attempts to Expand Federal Power."  This description is too kind.  The report details six cases and what would have resulted if the Supreme Court had ruled in Obama's favor.  Even the Justices he appointed voted against Obama administration claims.

The report shows clearly, that had the Court swung the other way, we would be living in a nation comparable to a total dictatorship.

Titled "The Legal Limit: The Obama Administration’s Attempts to Expand Federal Power” the brief, reportedly  "...analyzes six instances in the last 15 months where the U.S. Supreme Court has unanimously rejected the Obama Administration’s arguments for increased federal power..."

A Cruz office statement elaborates:

“When President Obama’s own Supreme Court nominees join their colleagues in unanimously rejecting his Administration’s call for broader federal power six times in just over one year, the inescapable conclusion is that the Obama Administration’s view of federal power knows virtually no bounds,” said Sen. Cruz. “This is a deeply troubling pattern that we will continue to highlight as long as this Administration continues seeking ways to expand its power in direct violation of Americans’ constitutional rights.”

The Cruz statement says that had President Obama’s Department of Justice been successful in its cases, the federal government would have the power to:

"Attach GPSs to a citizen’s vehicle to monitor his movements, without having any cause to believe that a person has committed a crime (United States v. Jones);

Deprive landowners of the right to challenge potential government fines as high as $75,000 per day and take away their ability have a hearing to challenge those fines (Sackett v. EPA);

Interfere with a church’s selection of its own ministers. (Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church & School v. EEOC);

Override state law whenever the President desires. (Arizona v. United States);
Dramatically extend statutes of limitations to impose penalties for acts committed decades ago. (Gabelli v. SEC); and

Destroy private property without paying just compensation. (Arkansas Fish & Game Commission v. United States)..."

And it says:

"...The arguments advanced in these cases demonstrate an astonishing view of federal power on behalf of the Obama Administration that is worthy of further examination..."

Clearly the attempt has been made time and again to violate and nullify the Constitution via Executive Branch actions, using the agencies of the government and the power of the Justice Department.  And obviously in these six cases he has failed.

And clearly he is still as determined as ever to bypass the Constitution.  How long before he resorts to other creative means in order to accomplish the goals of his agenda?

Already we see a drastic transformation of the American culture via the court system and through Presidential executive action.  Obama has attacked the state of Arizona, and has even gone after Sheriff Joe Arpaio, in an attempt to reign in that state with regard to immigration and border issues.

Individual citizens have been seized, arrested in blatantly unconstitutional actions by police.  Two cases specifically:  A veteran hauled in for detention and psychiatric observation,  because of something he posted on Facebook, and just recently an American G.I. for exercising his right to carry firearms in Public, where it is lawful to do so (Texas).  We now hear that gun confiscations are occurring in New York using the confidential medical information of citizens to make a case against their possessing firearms.

Obama has been quoted as saying that he was going to effect the "transformation" of this country.  Apparently his definition of "transformation" is tantamount to effecting a legal coup d' etat, a power grab to seize control of the country.  Unless our Legislators and our checks and balances can thwart this power seizure, the coup will have been accomplished on the first day of his first inauguration, as that is when he took over as President.

It is already too late, for we now have a President in office with all the power of that office at his disposal to use in whatever ways he wants to effect compliance to his agenda.  But there are checks and balances:   If ever there was a time for one to rush to the aid of our Constitution, now is the time to do so. History has placed us in the position of having the choice to be a spectator and to watch the decline and demise of our Liberty, or to be the agents of restoration of our Constitution to its proper place in our nation.
