Nor'easter not coming on Tuesday... Maybe.

As of today, Saturday, it's looking like another Nor'easter for New England is less of an option.  That's according to Bloomberg's Brian K. Sullivan, who got that from Bob Oravec at the U.S. Weather Prediction Center in College Park, Maryland.

Speculation about a Noreaster for new England began just as the latest storm,  which dumped up to two feet of snow in parts of Maine, was ending.  Sullivan sounded positive about weather possibilities for the Northern East Coast:

"...The prospects for New England, socked by heavy snows earlier this week, have improved ... Forecasters are watching a low-pressure system that will probably bring snow across the Appalachian Mountains west of the nation’s capital Monday into Tuesday ... "

Bad news for the ski slopes and the consequent business boost it brings to local New England  communities that depend on winter tourism for revenues, but a relief from shoveling and snow-plowing, and power outages for snow-storm affected areas that have seen three storms in a two week period. Sullivan said:

"...it is starting to look like Boston and New England will be spared another round of snow ... the storm that forms Tuesday into Wednesday looks like it will be too far to the east to give Boston much trouble ... Areas that have had a lot of heavy snow would be spared..."

Ask any Mainer and they will tell you, that could change, however.  Weather skeptics in New England maintain one eye on T.V. forecasts, and the other on the horizon.
